inPSA: I thought fighting afternoon sleepiness meant more caffeine, but nope
Can't argue with that, but my own attempt to ditch caffeine ended with me napping at my desk. Saw what lopez.quinn said and gave it a shot, but I guess my body's still hooked on the quick fix.

inMy book club still jokes about the salty cake I brought last month.
Is it really still funny a month later? Seems like they'd be over it by now.

inMy crew thought I was crazy for skipping the water hose
Reminds me of when I quit peeling apples for pie. Everyone said the skin would make it weird, but it added a nice chew. Took a bit to get the hang of it.

inTIL an old trick for leveling bricks. Cut my time in half.
Old trick for leveling bricks is a game changer. Run a tight string line first. Then use a hammer handle to tap each brick down to the line. Saves so much time over eyeballing it.

inA small crack led to a big paperwork moment
Protecting everyone in the long run is exactly right, @tessa_wright. I had to deal with a contract issue where the initial paperwork was a lifesaver. Without those signed forms, there would have been he said, she said for months. It seemed like overkill when we did it, but it cleared up confusion fast later on. That's why I'm a believer in dotting the i's and crossing the t's, even when it's tedious. Good paperwork is just good sense.
