inUpdate: my sister told me my texts were too long and now I notice it everywhere
Honestly a two line cap feels kinda strict to me, some stuff just needs more room to explain. Short is fine for quick plans but nobody should feel bad for writing out a real thought.

inA tech in Reno said he never replaces a control board without testing the thermistor first, I say swap the board and be done, who's wrong here?
That line about eating the cost of a return on 6 jobs got me. Reminds me of a guy I knew who kept a running list of every part he ever guessed wrong on and taped it inside his van door. Said it kept him honest, but honestly it just looked like a wall of shame to me.

inI thought the old timer's soap bubble trick on a leaking tube sheet was a joke until I tried it myself in Tulsa
Honestly the 5 psi thing from your buddy in Ohio is kinda wild to me but I get why he'd swear by it. I've messed with that bubble trick before and every setup seems to want something a little different, so I'm not gonna sit here and say he's wrong. It's just one of those things where you gotta feel it out on your own rig instead of trusting one number. Sorry you're getting pulled in ten directions on this, that part sucks.
