Thought the air fryer boiled egg trick was nonsense, now I eat 4 a day
I laughed at my sister in Ohio when she said she makes hard boiled eggs in hers. I told her eggs need a pot of boiling water, not a basket of hot air, and that she was wasting her time on some TikTok thing. Then my stove went out for a week in February and I got desperate enough to try it. Nine minutes at 270, ice bath for two minutes, and the shells slid off cleaner than any pot I have ever used. I have made 28 of them in the last 11 days and not one has cracked or turned green in the middle. Has anyone tried doing soft boiled ones this way, and what time and temp actually works for a runny yolk?
