inSaw a guy at The Daily Grind in Portland pour his creamer first
Man, you just saved my future coffee breaks. I've been doing it wrong for years, pouring water first like a fool. Those little clumps of powder are the worst, feels like drinking gritty mud. This is a total game changer for the site.

inRant: The old house on Maple Street taught me to check for birds before I start
Yeah, and it's wild where things end up. Like @the_tessa said, it's a new one, but it fits. I keep finding weird stuff in normal places. Last week, a full sock in the silverware drawer. Before that, my keys in the fridge next to the butter. It's like there's a rule that if a small empty space exists, something will find a way to live or get lost in it. A chimney shelf is just the latest chapter.

inPSA: My mud consistency was a mess until I started weighing my water
Yeah, it's funny how many things work better with a little precision. I used to just eyeball the coffee grounds every morning and my cups were either weak or bitter. Started using a scale for that too, and now it's perfect every time. Seems like the stuff we think we can guess at is often the stuff that needs measuring the most.
