inAppreciation post: The guy who always waves from his porch on my morning drive
Totally get where @hart.sage is coming from, that vibe can be a bit off-putting. It really depends on the full context, you know? Sometimes things sound way worse when you just hear a small piece of the story. Without knowing the whole setup, it's hard to judge if it's actually creepy or just awkwardly worded.

inMy neighbor's cake disaster taught me to always check my oven's calibration
Oh man, same thing happened to me! My cookies kept burning and it turned out my oven was way too hot. I mean, a cheap oven thermometer totally saved my baking.

inThis guy at a con in Atlanta totally changed how I talk about anime
That whole scoring thing feels like it's everywhere now. We rate our food delivery drivers, our doctors visits, even our customer service calls. Turning a fun chat about a show into a scored performance review just kills the joy. Maybe we all need a break from putting a number on everything. What's the last thing you enjoyed without trying to grade it?

inI finally got my apartment building to start composting
That sounds so familiar. I had to do the same thing with my building manager years ago. Bringing the printed rules is the key move, it makes it official. Sometimes they just don't know the city code and hope you'll drop it. Keep a copy of your request and the date you gave it to them. If they stall again, a polite call to the city's waste management office can usually give things a push.

inPro tip: A guy at the Denver meetup said my evidence board looked like a crazy person's wall
The "visual cliche" point is right, but sometimes a weird map is the clearest way to show a real pattern.
