Shoutout to my sister who said a fitted sheet over the couch arm beats any fancy clip, but I'm not sold
Back in March my sister Kim watched me fight with a pile of binder clips and said, all you need is an old fitted sheet over the couch arm, the elastic hugs the corner so nothing slips. I tried it that same night and I have to admit the corner held through a whole rainy Sunday of reading, no clips popping off, no gap for the cat to poke her head through. But here is where I go back and forth. The elastic stretches out after about two weeks of pulling it on and off, and then the sheet sags right where my shoulder leans. Kim says just rotate the sheet to a fresh corner, which works, but it means I'm tugging at it every few days. So I genuinely can't decide if she was right or if I just traded one small annoyance for a slower one. Has anyone used the fitted sheet trick and had it last more than a month, or do you go back to clips once the elastic gives out?
