inFinally got the hang of fading the occipital bone area after 3 rough cuts
Man that's a solid tip right there. It's funny how the small adjustments nobody talks about end up being the key to leveling up. Reminds me of how learning to fix things around the house goes, you struggle with the obvious stuff for ages then someone shows you one little trick and it all clicks.

inMy Kirby Morgan mask flooded bad on a 60ft job last Thursday. Was it the exhaust valve or something else?
Yeah hair in the seal is definitely a thing but most leaks I've seen come from a tiny nick in the rubber no one bothered to check.

inDebate: Is it worth paying $400 for a thermal imaging camera or just a waste?
You said "a multimeter does the same thing" and honestly that's mostly true for standard electrical work. But that Flir saved you a ton of time on that specific job, which kinda proves its value for niche troubleshooting. For most techs it's a luxury tool, but if you do enough builds or repairs with tricky heat issues it pays for itself eventually.
