inSpent last month bouncing between coworking spots in Medellin and it wrecked my routine
Wait, are you seriously telling me the 'gram-friendly spots with jungle wallpaper and a smoothie bar arent actually built for getting work done? Color me shocked. I mean, Id rather take a laptop to a proper library with fluorescent lights and someone shushing me than fight for an outlet at one of those overpriced "creative hubs" again. Maybe it's just me but I feel like half those places are just glorified Instagram studios with spotty wifi and zero actual desk space. The last time I tried one of those trendy spots in Medellin I spent 20 minutes trying to find a chair that didnt make my back hurt just to end up working from a beanbag. Honestly, rotating between a few solid spots sounds way smarter than rolling the dice on a new place every day.

Cracked half my hair off trying this exact thing, @wendysanchez

inI used to book flights 6 months ahead, now I wait 6 weeks
Started doing the same thing last year. Turns out panicking 6 weeks out has been way better for my wallet than panicking 6 months out.

inStopped into a salon in Austin last week that had no sanitization station
yeah that one got me too. just a dry cloth? that's not cleaning anything, that's just moving the germs around. you definitely did the right thing.

inPro tip: take the local train for a quieter morning read
My buddy Jake actually had the opposite experience. He tried the local once because he was stressed about a presentation and figured he'd use the time to go over his notes, but he just got more anxious watching all the express trains zoom past. He said he spent the whole trip staring at the clock and ended up more worked up than when he started. I guess it depends on whether you can actually shut off the timer in your head.
