I thought sharpening my own chisels was a scam until my $6 whetstone from a flea market proved me wrong
Kept paying a guy in Fresno $15 a pop to sharpen my chisels and figured that was just the cost of doing business. Then I grabbed a cheap stone at the Alameda flea market, watched one video, and now my 1 inch chisel shaves paper in about three passes. Anyone else feel like a sucker for paying someone else to do something this simple?
