Tried a little experiment last weekend. Watched all of Frieren dubbed at 2x speed to see if the pacing complaints held up. It was terrible, the emotional beats in episode 12 just vanished. So if you're thinking about speeding through slow burns, don't. What shows actually survive double speed for you?
