I bought this fancy weight-activated feeder last month, thinking it would stop the squirrels from eating all my sunflower seeds. It worked for about two weeks, until a big raccoon showed up on my deck in Cincinnati last night. It just climbed the pole, hung its whole body on the perch to trip the mechanism, and dumped the entire seed load onto the ground. Now I'm out the seed AND the feeder feels useless.
