A library with a 45 minute computer session limit did the same thing for me last year, finished a whole project I'd been putting off for weeks. Something about a countdown makes my brain actually pick one task instead of ten.

Fifteen years of glue and cloth is a long run but I get why you stuck with it. I used to figure stab binding was just for fancy books and not worth the fuss, then I made a little notebook last winter and it totally changed my mind. The pages lay so flat and it just looks handmade in a way glue never does.

Man, this hits home! I ran a worn float for way too long on a garage slab last summer and kept cussing my shoulders like they were the issue.
