Rant: my friend group used to plan every outing two weeks out, now we just wait for one person to cancel
Five years ago in Austin we had a group chat calendar and booked stuff 14 days ahead like clockwork. Now every plan starts with someone saying "let's play it by ear" and by Thursday it is dead. Last month we had a brewery tour set for 1pm and it fell apart because two people never confirmed. Honestly I have stopped making backup plans because half the time the original one actually happens. Is this just what happens when everyone hits their late 30s, or is my group weird?
