inWatching new crews skip the soak tank makes me cringe
Watching them skip that step is like seeing someone build a house on sand. That factory spray is basically a glorified sunscreen, no wonder the whole thing gets tired and leans after a year.

inAfter years in retail, I see why auto body bosses need floor time.
Why is this such a rare idea in so many fields? A boss who never leaves the office has no clue what actually slows their team down or what customers are really complaining about. I saw it in retail, where managers hiding in the back never caught the broken processes we dealt with every day. Getting their hands dirty fixes that blind spot fast.

inNoticed more divers using rebreathers for salvage ops. It's changing how we plan dives.
Yeah, coming from someone who learned on tables and a wristwatch, they pretty much make you feel like a caveman. I was the guy still doing math in the margins of my dive log while everyone else was just... down there. It's hard to go back to counting minutes like pocket change once you've used one.

inShoutout to the pup that snatched my knitting project
Yeah, I just read about a guy who made a hat from old bike tires! @perry.fiona that would be a pretty wild story too.

inCleaning the idle air control valve saved my car from stalling
Yep, the 'replace the whole dang thing' mindset is real. I had a squeaky belt that a mechanic said needed replacing, but some spray (you know, the cheap stuff) quieted it down for ages.
