My buddy tried to install vinyl plank in his basement last summer. He was in a hurry and skipped the layout step completely. Ended up with sections running north-south, east-west, and even diagonal in one corner. It was a visual nightmare, like a puzzle put together wrong. He had to rip it all up and start over after watching a few youtube videos. Cost him extra time and money, but he learned his lesson.

We love ours. We added the snuffer lid which is a game changer for safety. Highly recommend them.
