inPSA: My laptop charger died right before a client call in Chiang Mai
That "quiet pop" is the worst sound when you're traveling. I felt that panic just reading it, the scramble to find a new charger in an unfamiliar place is so stressful. I've had cheap adapters fail on me too, usually at the worst time. For a tough one, I've had good luck with Anker's travel adapters because they seem to handle weird power surges better. What kind of laptop do you have, maybe that changes which adapter works best?

inWhy does nobody talk about the cost of a proper dust collection system?
Exactly, those forced pauses can refocus your brain. It's like the shop vac is a built-in timer for quality checks.

inWarning: I heard a contractor say you should always use a 2x4 for framing, no matter what.
Heard a builder on a podcast say thicker walls are the new standard for energy codes, right? That extra space for insulation is a total game changer.
