I was hiking in the Rockies last month and decided to try a new app that uses AI to identify plants. It worked by pointing my camera at any plant, and the AI would tell me what it was. I came across this weird looking flower with purple spots. The app said it was a rare alpine species that only blooms in summer. It even gave me facts about how it survives in cold weather. Without the AI, I would have just walked right past it. Now I use the app on all my hikes to learn more about nature. It's amazing how tech can make outdoor trips so much richer.
