A pilot in Dallas swore by a new torque wrench brand I'd never heard of

He said his shop had been using their digital models for six months with zero calibration drift. I was pretty sure it was just fancy marketing, but we needed a new one anyway. Bought the 3/8 inch drive model, and after checking it against our lab standard for a full month, it's still spot on. Has anyone else tried these 'Precision Pro' wrenches, or is this just a lucky unit?

My local hardware store started stocking that brand last year. I bought their 1/2 inch model for a suspension job and it's been solid. It feels like a lot of these mid-tier tool companies are finally catching up to the big names without the insane markups.

Yeah but terrycraig, how long have you actually had it? A year isn't that long for a tool. I've seen plenty of stuff work fine at first then fall apart when you really put hours on it. Those big names got their price for a reason, they last. I'll believe the mid-tier hype when my buddy's cheap impact is still running in five years.

Agree with terrycraig, my mid-tier stuff is holding up fine.
