Man, I used to think this kind of stuff was just made up. Like who hands a stranger their umbrella and expects to see it again? I figured people were too busy or just didnt care. Then my car died last winter and some guy at the gas station jumped my battery, and I mailed his cables back to him a week later. He called me just to say he couldnt believe it. That made me change my whole take. Small stuff like your umbrella story shows most people are decent, we just dont hear about it.

Terra Nil isn't cozy at all and the no combat rule is a pretty weak way to define the genre. You literally just said you restarted a map twice because of temperature and water goals, that's a fail state, that's pressure, that's a puzzle game wearing a pretty green coat. Cozy means the game doesn't punish you for playing slow or messing around, and Terra Nil punishes you with a dead map if you place a turbine wrong. A Short Hike, Unpacking, Powerwash Simulator, those are cozy because you can't lose, and the second a game adds a lose condition it stops being cozy no matter how many cute frogs it has.
