inRan into a retired trim guy at the lumberyard in Spokane
Yeah, that's the real pro move right there, @barbarah19. I had a similar lightbulb moment trying to fit crown molding in a room with no straight corners. Once you stop trusting the numbers on the tape and start trusting the actual wall, everything just fits better. It's a whole different way of working.

inI finally figured out my weird kimchi problem after three months
Wait, you went three whole months with mushy kimchi before checking the water? That's some next-level patience, I would have lost my mind after the second failed batch. Joel's totally right about the chlorine killing the good stuff, it's not just about safety to drink. Emma's grandma probably had different water back in the day, city water changes.

inPro tip: I used to think a cheap tarp was fine for my tent footprint until a downpour in the Smokies last fall.
That "extra weight" you mention is exactly why I just use my tent's built in floor.

inSpent three hours yesterday because I forgot a single semicolon
My buddy at work refused to use a linter for the longest time, @wesley181. He spent a whole afternoon once trying to figure out why his script wouldn't run, and it was just a single misplaced comma. After that he finally set one up, and now he says it's like having a second pair of eyes that never get tired. It really does save you from those tiny mistakes that eat up your time. Watching him struggle was all the proof I needed.

inHonestly, a game night in Austin changed how I handle rule arguments forever.
What about when the rulebook itself is confusing?
