inNgl, I accepted a commission that uses a copyrighted character without a license
Clients always swear they have permissions sorted, but half the time they're just guessing. That mascot mess sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. You really need everything in writing, even for stuff that seems obvious. Got burned once on a local sports team logo and now my contracts are ten pages long.

inI learned the value of community by helping my neighbor fix her fence
Man, I used to be so focused on my own stuff that I barely knew my neighbors' names. But last month my power went out during a storm and the guy across the street ran an extension cord over so my fridge wouldn't spoil. Totally changed my view on why that stuff matters.

inVent: I think slow yoga flows are better for learning than quick ones
Yeah, the part about moving slowly to check your alignment really hits home. My friend used to get so frustrated in fast vinyasa classes because her shoulders kept hurting. She switched to a super slow class for a month, and it totally clicked for her. She finally saw how her elbows were bending out in chaturanga the whole time. Fixing that small thing in slow motion made the fast flows way safer and actually enjoyable for her later on.

inMy hearing is getting worse every season and nobody on site seems to care.
Why do people act like constant noise is no big deal? After seeing @blakeb73 talk about just nodding along, it made me think of my old neighbor with a smoke alarm that beeped every hour. He complained to the building manager for weeks, but they called it a small annoyance. That beep messed up his sleep so much he kept dozing off during the day. It took him threatening to call the city before they finally changed the battery. Stuff like that shows how easy it is for others to ignore a problem that slowly wrecks your life.
