Shoutout to the closet purge that cleared my head for client projects
I was overwhelmed with clutter in my home office. So, I spent a weekend purging my closet of old files and supplies. (Let's be real, it was a mental block I didn't know I had.) Now, with a cleaner space, I focus better on freelance tasks. I even found some forgotten resources I can use. My productivity has jumped, and I'm less stressed during deadlines. Has anyone else found that physical organization directly impacts their freelance mindset?

Last Saturday's office cleanup unlocked a crazy productive streak for my freelancing.

An office cleanup actually unlocked a productive streak... that's hard to believe. I can barely find my keyboard after a long week.

It's almost like we've collectively forgotten how much physical chaos taxes mental bandwidth. We treat workspaces like storage units instead of engines for focus.

A buddy of mine runs a small bike repair shop from his garage. For months he complained about being stuck, just doing the basic jobs. He finally cleared out all the old parts and empty boxes one weekend. The next week, he designed a new rack system he'd been putting off for a year. He said looking at the clean bench made his brain feel clear too. It let him see the project, not just the mess around it.
