inIt felt like forever waiting for that peel to set
Remember my buddy who used to wait an hour at the pharmacy drive thru? He'd just sit there staring at the building. Now they have a text system so he can show up when it's actually ready, and he says it feels like getting a piece of his week back. That kind of waiting really does add up, doesn't it? What was the worst wait you used to have that's gone now?

inJust realized I was wrong about tempered glass for years
Wait, a kid actually ran through regular glass? That's wild lol. I always thought those windows would just crack or something. The idea of it shattering into big sharp pieces is kinda scary when you picture it near a play area. Makes you realize how something simple like glass choice can go wrong fast.

inUnpopular opinion: I used to ignore update prompts until a nearby shop got locked out
I read about that Microsoft Exchange hack last year where over 30,000 organizations in the US got compromised through an unpatched server. It made the news for weeks. My cousin runs a small bike shop and he said his old point of sale system was vulnerable for months before he finally let it update. It's so easy to just keep clicking "later" and forget. Stories like your bakery are what finally make it click for people, that it's not just some far off tech problem. It happens right down the street.
