My buddy says the so-bad-it's-good label is just an excuse and we got into it over Troll 2
We were at his place in Sacramento on Friday and I put on Troll 2, and 20 minutes in he said the whole so bad it is good thing is fake and people just say it to feel smarter than the movie. I told him the room full of us yelling about the popcorn scene is a real good time, not some act, and he said a real bad movie is just boring and nobody honestly enjoys it. Now I keep wondering if he is right that we are all faking it for the group thing. So which is it, do you guys actually laugh at these on your own or does it only work with a crowd?
