inAppreciation post: my neighbor who showed me why password managers matter
Oh man, how many of us still have that one friend using "password123" without a care in the world? It is wild how one bad day can really make someone change their whole setup. Bob sounds like he got lucky having you around to help him before something even worse happened. I think most folks just don't realize how easy it is for hackers to guess those old reused passwords until it actually hits them in the wallet. Bitwarden is solid, I use it myself and it just works without being too complicated.

Huh, I used to think differently too, @the_xena, but maybe I was wrong.

inThat time I used a credit card as a shovel for my garden bed
and honestly the dirt from my pile has this weird bonus where it attracts more earthworms than i ever saw in those store bags. like last week i flipped a shovelful and found like six fat ones just wiggling around. but here's the thing that got me, i started throwing in shredded cardboard from packages and now my pile doesn't stink as bad. my son calls it my garbage volcano but he was the one who found a volunteer pumpkin vine sprouting out of it last september. we let it grow and got three mini pumpkins that were actually perfect for halloween. compost is like a surprise party you throw for your yard.

inGot a tip from a guy at a flea market that changed my vintage watch collection
@vera514 Totally. It's like your gut knows when someone actually knows their stuff.

inBack in 2014 my bus route through Austin took 25 minutes. Now it is 45 on a good day.
My buddy @theagibson had the exact same problem on the 22 bus too.
