inJust had to pick between Bali and Lisbon for 3 months
Nah, I figured the coliving wifi would work since they advertised "business class" internet. Saw a review later from someone who said it dropped out every afternoon, which turned out to be true for me too. @jamie770 I should've looked up actual coworking spots beforehand, but by the time I realized the wifi was shaky, I was already stuck in a lease. Live and learn I guess.

inWasted 45 minutes trying to find my glasses while I was already wearing them
Wait did you actually balance them on your head or like tuck them into your hair? lol I tried that once and they slid right off when I bent down to pick something up.

inThat YouTube repair guy said to always replace the whole control board - he was dead wrong
That $180 board probably cost Whirlpool like 30 bucks to make. These repair influencers are just covering their own butts because they know most people can't solder. They'd rather sell you a $200 part than spend 20 minutes teaching you how to fix a $4 relay. It's the same reason car mechanics push whole assemblies instead of a $20 sensor. I've saved probably a thousand bucks over the years just learning basic soldering and multimeter work.

inCan we talk about proofing baskets that are just too small for bulk rises?
Ended up with dough on my kitchen ceiling once. Guess my basket size guess was off by a lot.

inPro tip: That thing about reading character dialogue out loud actually works
I get what you're saying but reading out loud helped me catch things I never noticed on the page... It's not about everyone repeating themselves, it's about how the same words sound when you actually say them. My book club ended up cutting a whole scene because it sounded fake when we read it aloud.
