After my dog grooming shop got crazy busy, I had to lock in a 5 AM workout or lose my mind

After my alarm failed for the third time, I started putting my phone on the dresser across the room. That way, I had to get up to turn it off, which woke me up enough to stay awake. I also set a second alarm on a cheap digital clock as a backup. In my experience, having that physical barrier made a big difference, but your mileage may vary. If one alarm fails, the other usually catches it.

Rant: Deleting my budget spreadsheet by mistake showed me why simple backups matter

Seems like a minor hassle, not a disaster, since you found an old copy.

Spotting a shift towards bright colors in modern bindings

Totally get what @claire_gibson means about that shift. I grabbed a bright pink book last week just for the cover, and it actually got me to read more. Felt like a little treat instead of homework.

Got a laugh from the crew after fixing a sensor with a zip tie

@amy974, isn't it wild how these quick fixes become part of the car's personality? I'm so guilty of relying on them, like the time I used a bread clip to hold a mirror in place. It fell off after a rainstorm, and I had to explain why my mirror was taped with old receipts. Or when I tried to silence a rattle with a sock, only for it to catch fire near the engine. Whoops, maybe not my brightest moments.

That fancam of an idol straining their ankle mid-performance has me DEBATING: should choreo be less intense to prevent injuries, or does that dilute the ART? Your opinions?

My friend Jake pulled a muscle trying to keep up with insane choreography his team insisted on. @tessat99 is right that better planning, like using the group to cover tough spots, would have prevented it. He's doing better now with routines that are still impressive but way safer, don't you think?
