inSaw the coolest old avionics bench at the Pima Air & Space Museum
But what if that old gear is actually holding us back? I get what @taylor.sean's buddy is doing, but constantly hunting for museum pieces seems like a losing battle. At some point you have to adapt the old systems to work with modern, reliable test equipment. Keeping 50 year old bench gear running just to fix a 50 year old radio is a recipe for never flying. New tools can be made to talk to old stuff if you try hard enough.

inVent: I tried to map a Roman road in my county with LiDAR data and got a total surprise
Try getting an ambulance when your 911 call bounces between two county dispatch centers. That line on a map decides who sends help and how fast it gets there. It's not about looking for a problem, it's about the problem finding you when you're in trouble. I've seen the delay firsthand. Those lines matter a lot more when you're the one waiting.

inTIL my old phone battery hit 900 charge cycles
Could be the charging brick too, @the_nathan. Some of the fast ones seem to cook the battery over time.

That wax paper trick is genius for saving delicate old paper.

inFinally tried a 3mm vs 6mm punty for small marbles, the thinner one was way less likely to crack during transfer.
Yeah, that thinner punty is a game changer for small stuff. I was fighting cracks on little florals for weeks. Switched to a 3mm and it just lets the marble cool more evenly, less stress. The thick one holds too much heat and shocks it. Total night and day difference on my success rate.
