Today, I used basil I grew from seed in my pasta, and it made me smile so big! Some folks argue that grabbing herbs from the store is easier and gives the same happy feeling. But for me, checking on the plant each morning for two months made tonight's dinner taste way better. I loved seeing the first green shoots and now having full leaves to pick.
