I went with a hidden zipper on a linen dress and everyone told me I was wrong
For a summer dress I made last month, I had to pick between a side seam zipper or a hidden back one. The popular choice in my group was the side seam for easier access, but I chose the hidden back zipper to keep the clean lines of the dress. I hand-picked it in a matching blue thread, which took about an hour longer. The dress turned out great and the back looks seamless, but it is a bit harder to get into. Has anyone else picked a less popular closure method and been happy with it?

Totally get that! Honestly, the clean back is worth the extra minute to get dressed. Sometimes the 'harder' way just gives you a better finish.

Yeah I used to rush through it, but now I just take the extra time. The final look is so much better, you know?

Clean back" is so true... it's like that one detail that makes everything else look put together. I've started doing the same thing, even when I'm in a hurry.
