inMy table saw dado stack changed my mind on routers
It's funny how often we keep using the "good enough" tool because it's familiar. I see that everywhere, from how people organize their garages to the apps they stick with. Sometimes the better way is just sitting there waiting for you to try it.

inMy old floppy disk taught me a lesson I'll never forget
Oof, that hurts to hear. I had a similar scare when my laptop's hard drive crashed right after a big family reunion. Lost all the videos from that weekend, and it still bugs me years later. @west.skyler, your friend must be gutted, what's the worst thing you've ever lost to tech failure?

inDAE flip their stance on idol schedules after that health scare article?
Yeah, the "proper breaks" thing is key. My friend's company tried the four-day week but just crammed five days of work into four (you know, same pay, but way more stressed). He said it was brutal at first, like his kids were still in daycare but he had zero energy on his off day. They finally fixed it by actually cutting their meeting time by like 25 percent. Now his Friday is for chores so Saturday feels like a real break.

inSkipping the talking in my meditation routine worked better for me
Well, guided talk can help by giving your brain a job to do. Without it, silence might let your thoughts run wild. I've found that a voice helps me stay on track, mainly when I'm new to meditating. Otherwise, my mind just replays awkward conversations from years ago.

inUnpopular opinion: Prepping my coffee the night before actually got me out the door for a run.
Ever read about laying out your workout clothes the night before? I started doing that on Sundays for the whole week. I fold a stack of shorts, shirts, and socks right on my dresser. Waking up and seeing it there makes it feel like the decision was already made. No more standing around deciding what to wear while I talk myself out of going. It's the same idea as your coffee pot, just less caffeinated.
