Unpopular opinion: Prepping my coffee the night before actually got me out the door for a run.
I always struggled with morning exercise, but this tiny habit shift made it way easier. What little things have you guys done that stuck?

Whoa, folding a whole week's worth of clothes? @richardprice, that's next level. I can barely pick an outfit for tomorrow. The idea of seven neat stacks is kind of blowing my mind. My version of this was just kicking my sneakers by the door so I'd trip over them. Your way is like military precision.

Setting my watch alarm the same as my coffee timer did the trick for me. That way when the beeping starts I'm already halfway awake before I even sit up. Then I just have to stumble to the kitchen and the coffee's practically done... makes it real hard to talk myself into going back to bed. Another thing that helped was keeping my running shoes right by the back door with my keys and phone on top of them. That way there's no digging around in the dark trying to find stuff while my brain is still foggy. It's funny how just removing one tiny barrier can make the whole thing actually happen.

Ever read about laying out your workout clothes the night before? I started doing that on Sundays for the whole week. I fold a stack of shorts, shirts, and socks right on my dresser. Waking up and seeing it there makes it feel like the decision was already made. No more standing around deciding what to wear while I talk myself out of going. It's the same idea as your coffee pot, just less caffeinated.

Honestly folding clothes for the entire week? That’s a whole other level of commitment.
