Finally noticed which way storm drains actually slope after 6 years of walking past them

Whoa, that's actually pretty wild. I remember reading something a few years back about how most people never really notice the small infrastructure details around them until they're forced to. Something about how our brains filter out familiar patterns to save energy. Makes me wonder how many other little things we're all just walking past without seeing. Storm drains seem like one of those things you'd assume you know the slope of, but nope. Anyway, your mileage may vary, but it's cool you finally spotted it.

Took me a good 10 years and a broken ankle to notice that one, so you're way ahead of me.

The real trick is noticing it before you break something, not after. Strange how pain makes us pay attention to what our bodies were screaming for years.

Started taking magnesium before bed and it helped a ton, @adamthompson.
