But soda will dehydrate you... and the sugar crash is real. Stick with water to keep your energy stable. Been there, done that, and it's not pretty.

Was your friend's shaky hands issue worse during the actual work or the cleanup later? I had a buddy try the all-soda method for a big install and he said the worst part was trying to wrap delicate stems while buzzing, totally messed up his flow. Then @dianahayes is spot on, because he said the cleanup crash was a whole other nightmare of fumbling with vase water and scattered petals. He looked like a zombie trying to sweep up leaves with those jitters. Switched to iced tea and water the next time and said it was a game changer.
