Switched from hostels to coliving spaces after 8 months on the road
I spent my first 8 months in Southeast Asia jumping between hostels to save cash, but after a month in a coliving spot outside Chiang Mai I'm sold on the trade-off. Having a stable desk and real kitchen let me actually focus on client work instead of hunting for coffee shops every morning. Has anyone else found their work quality improved after switching up their accommodation style?

Yeah, totally get what you mean. Having that stable base makes such a difference when you're trying to actually get stuff done. And @fiona985 is right, that Chiang Mai spot really does sound like it hit the sweet spot for balancing work and travel.

Oh man, seriously - it really was. I was getting nowhere trying to work from my hotel room or random cafes. The wifi was spotty and I couldn't focus. Now I just make sure to scope out a spot like that on day one, test the internet speed before I commit to anything. That way I can actually get my stuff done and not stress about deadlines.
