Vent: I used to think people who talked to their dogs were weird
Last week my neighbor Mike caught me yelling at my car for not starting and he just laughed. He said it's no different than how he talks to his golden retriever about the mailman. I argued back for a minute but then realized I've been complaining to my coffee maker every morning for years. Now I can't judge anyone for chatting with their pet while I'm out here arguing with a toaster.

Is it weird that I've started talking back to my GPS when it gives me bad directions? I swear, I've had full conversations with it about traffic and construction. My wife walked in on me calling it "a stubborn little map box" and she just shook her head. But honestly, I think it's human nature to talk to anything that has buttons or makes noise. Your coffee maker probably hears your best morning complaints.

Had a buddy who got so fed up with his GPS rerouting him through a dirt road that he yelled "You're fired" at it and unplugged it right there. Spent the next hour lost in the woods before admitting defeat and plugging it back in.
