Gave up on LinkedIn ads for 6 months, then a single post got me 40 demo requests
I stopped running any paid campaigns back in February because the cost per lead was just getting stupid. Last week I threw up a quick post about a social engineering trick we caught in a client's network and it got shared by some CISO with 5k followers. Has anyone else seen way better results from organic reach than from paid stuff lately?

The 40 demos from one post is impressive, but I'm not sure that's a repeatable strategy. You basically won the lottery on that CISO share.

Yeah the "cost per lead was just getting stupid" part hits hard. I was burning $200 a day on LinkedIn ads and getting absolute garbage leads that never answered emails. What worked for me was posting like once a week about the real stuff - not "how to sell better" fluff but actual technical breakdowns of things I caught in logs or weird phishing emails we intercepted. One of those posts got picked up by an IT director at a big law firm and suddenly I had 6 meetings on my calendar. The trick is to post the kind of content YOU would actually want to read if you were scrolling, not what your marketing team tells you to post.
