Wasted $85 on a 'premium' plotter for my story maps and it was junk

Ngl, I bought this fancy plotter last spring to map out my fantasy novel's timeline and locations, thinking it would make everything so professional. The software glitched every time I tried to add a new character, and the support guy told me to 'just restart it' three times before I gave up. Anyone else throw cash at a writing tool that totally flopped?

@susan_wright34 suuusan I feel your pain on that worldbuilding database. 85 bucks down the drain here and all I got was a crashy plotter that made me want to throw my laptop out the window. Guess we both learned the hard way that fancy price tags don't mean much.

$85 just for it to crash on adding a character? That's brutal. I spent $60 on a "worldbuilding database" and it deleted all my location notes after one update. Makes you wonder if these companies even test their stuff before selling it.

Read somewhere that half these apps are just reskinned templates with no QA. Shame you can't even trust basic note-taking anymore.
