I wasted $150 on a ghostwriting course that was all fluff

Thought I'd try that 'Write Like A Pro' course from a guy in Portland. Turned out it was just 12 videos of him reading blog posts he found for free online. I should have saved that cash and just studied prompts here instead. Anyone else get burned by a hyped up writing workshop?

Had a buddy drop $200 on a "masterclass" that was just the guy reading his own book out loud for 2 hours. He said it felt like paying someone to watch them brush their teeth. Did you ever get your money back or at least refunded?

That "reading his own book aloud" thing is brutal. I think a lot of these courses just bank on people feeling bad and not asking for a refund, so they make it as painful as possible to actually get one.
