Tried taking the bus to work for a week to save gas. Got harassed by a guy who smelled like old milk.

So I live in Cleveland and my car needed a new alternator, figured I'd bus it for 5 days. Day 3, this dude sits next to me and starts telling me about his conspiracy theories about pigeons being government drones. Then he reaches into his bag and pulls out a half-eaten sandwich that definitely had mold on it. I got off at the wrong stop just to get away and ended up walking 20 minutes in the rain. Learned that saving $40 on gas is not worth losing my sanity. Has anyone else had a bus rider from hell story?

Have you tried calling the non-emergency police line to see if they can just run your plates? Sometimes they'll cut you a break if you stayed with the car and didn't leave it abandoned lol

Okay so THREE YEARS later @grace89, and the only thing that saved me was literally watching a YouTube tutorial on how to hotwire a 1998 Honda Civic at 2am in a Walgreens parking lot. Not my finest moment but honestly, best story I've got now.
