I thought the whole 'collecting for investment' thing was a total scam.
Then I saw a guy at a con in Chicago sell a raw copy of Ultimate Fallout 4 for over two grand because of the first Miles Morales. It wasn't graded, just in a nice bag and board. What's the most you've seen a modern book actually sell for?

Right? It's wild. I saw a raw copy of Hulk 181, not even in great shape, go for like five grand at a local shop auction. Makes you rethink what's in your long boxes.

That's insane money for a book with no grade. Did the shop say why it went so high, like maybe it had a really clean cover or something? Makes me wonder what other "junk" books from the 70s are secretly worth a ton now. What do you even look for in a raw copy to guess its value?
