The barista at Brooklyn Grind remembered my order after I visited twice in one week

I went to this spot on 5th Avenue three times last week for their pour-over, and on the third day the guy at the counter just nodded and started brewing my usual before I even spoke. Has anyone else had a coffee shop worker pull that off and make your whole day feel special?

That guy at the counter must have a sixth sense or something. My old coffee shop had a barista who remembered my drink order but also which terrible podcast I was listening to each morning.

Oh man that is the best feeling, like you've leveled up in the coffee shop game lol. Once they start recognizing you it's way better than any loyalty card.
