Changed my mind about using a 6-foot ladder for attic runs after a job in Phoenix

Those attic runs in the summer are no joke. I tried a 6-footer once and it was way too tippy on stairs. A 4-foot ladder is way more stable for that kind of tight space. It's easier to move around and you don't feel like you're gonna fall over every time you reach for something.

Man, I gotta disagree on the 4-footer. My 6-foot Little Giant ladder folds down small but gives me that extra reach without moving it constantly. The key is the wide base setting.

Jason's right about attic stairs, but the wide base on a 6-footer really does fix the tippy feeling.
