A client chewed me out for skipping the fine print on a lease renewal and it saved me from a lawsuit
Told me I was missing a clause about subletting that could've let a tenant run an Airbnb out of their unit, and now I check every single line before I sign anything. Has anyone else had a client catch something that forced you to rethink your whole process?

My last tenant caught a typo in the square footage that saved me $200 a month.

$200 a month adds up fast, exactly how small mistakes turn into big losses. @mila_campbell25 lucked out that the tenant was honest about that square footage typo instead of just cashing in. Makes you wonder how many other little errors are hiding in contracts nobody ever catches.

Blair_webb is right on the money there. A tenant catching a square footage typo saved you $200 a month? That's wild.
