I used to think watching shows on my phone was the best way to do it

For years, I'd watch everything on my phone, even at home. I thought it was so smart, being able to watch in bed or while cooking. Then, about three months ago, my friend made me sit down and watch the first episode of 'Severance' on her actual TV. It was a totally different thing. I saw all these small details in the office scenes and heard the weird music in a way I just never did on my little screen. I was missing half the show trying to make it fit my life, instead of just giving it my full attention for an hour. Now I save the phone for travel and try to watch new stuff properly. Does anyone else feel like they watch shows better on a bigger screen, or is it just me?

My phone screen is way too small to catch the background details in Severance.

Honestly, I get the opposite feeling. My big TV just makes me zone out. I catch more on my phone because I have to focus on that small rectangle, like noticing an actor's tiny reaction during a quiet scene in a coffee shop. On the couch, I just get lost in the big picture and miss those little things. Plus, with my phone, I can rewind instantly if I glance away for a second. Maybe bigger isn't always better for paying attention?

Right? My giant monitor just shows me how badly I need to clean my desk.
