Shoutout to the guy at the thrift store who told me to watch 'The Room'

I was digging through a bin of old DVDs at the Goodwill on 4th street last Saturday when this older dude just walked up and handed me a copy of 'The Room'. He said 'this is the worst movie ever made, but you'll laugh the whole time.' I took it home and watched it with my buddy Mike that night, and now we quote it all the time. Anyone else have a random stranger turn them onto a bad movie classic?

That Blockbuster has been a mattress store for six years now.

Oh man, I gotta jump in here real quick (sorry, I'm that guy). I think you might be mixing up the theaters a little - the Eagle Rock Goodwill is actually on Colorado, not 4th street, I think you're thinking of the one by the old Blockbuster. But anyway, that stranger was totally right about 'The Room', it's basically a masterpiece of how not to make a movie and me and my roommate quote "you're tearing me apart, Lisa!" at least once a week.

Haha oh no @robinf51 my friend sarah actually did this same thing once and ended up at a random laundromat thinking it was the theater for like 20 minutes before someone told her.
