inI finally sorted my board game collection by complexity and it changed game night
Last year, I sorted my games by how long they take to play, not how hard they are. This helped a lot because we often worry about time. When people visit, we choose from quick games if it's getting late, or longer ones for a free day. We still get to look through a small group of games, which keeps it fun without the mess. It adds some order but does not kill the chance for surprise. In the end, this kind of sorting made our game nights better by cutting out the stress.

inA building owner tried to sweet-talk me past a safety rule
Honestly, I get why someone would take the cash... sometimes you're just in a tight spot. But man, that story is a worst case scenario for sure.

inA tool I once ignored now tops my kit
Seriously? Tools fail all the time. My buddy's meter gave a clear reading on a dry wall but missed the soaked insulation inside the cavity because the pins weren't long enough. Gut feeling is built from seeing a hundred houses, noticing weird smells or soft spots a tool won't catch. You can get fooled by a number just as easy as anything else.
