inPSA: I looked up the real cost of that 'free' furniture you see on the curb
Oh man, @sarah_patel25, my brain shuts down the second I see a spreadsheet, so I'll just trust you on this one lol.

inI was hammering way too hard for years without knowing it
My uncle ran a shipyard for forty years. He taught me to weld by saying you have to lead the puddle like you're herding it. If you just sit there and watch, the heat spreads out and you get a weak, wide bead. A little push keeps it tight and drives it deep into the joint. Letting it just happen is how you get a cold lap.

inHonestly, I just dropped $80 on a 'rare' philodendron cutting that turned out to be a common pothos
Oh man, that's the worst feeling! I got burned last year on what was supposed to be a variegated monstera node. Paid a ton and it just pushed out a regular old leaf. Makes you want to just give up on buying online, doesn't it? I've had good luck with the shop Green Canopy since then, they send real photos of the exact plant.

inI was convinced wireless sensors were a bad idea for commercial jobs until I saw the battery life on the new Ajax units last a full 18 months in a busy warehouse.
Hold on, 18 months isn't that long. I've seen wired systems go a full decade without a single service call. That battery will die at the worst possible time, and then you're stuck.
