I stood my ground on a sketchy repair sign-off last week
Found a patch job on a fuel line that was just barely within limits. Boss wanted it cleared fast to meet a deadline, but it felt wrong. I insisted on a full redo, which took extra time. Turns out, the patch was failing and would have leaked. Feeling good about sticking to my guns on this one.

Come on, sometimes you just gotta trust the process and get the job done. Bosses have the big picture, right? I've seen a dozen quick fixes that lasted years without a problem. Holding everything up for one iffy spot can cost more in downtime than the repair ever would. You got lucky this time, but playing it too safe every time just kills efficiency.
