I discovered a coastal village that bans plastic
Just got back from Sea Breeze Village. They don't allow any single-use plastics, so the beaches are clean and full of fish.

Actually, I see it differently. Bans on plastic can backfire in small places. For example, if a coastal village bans plastic bags, local shops might switch to paper that costs more and falls apart in the rain. @kellyjones, those book boxes are a good idea because they're easy, but plastic bans need a lot of change. Not every town can handle that kind of rule without hurting people who live there.

Wow, every town should try this.

My cousin's town in Ohio put up some free book boxes. It really helped kids who lived far from the library. I mean, things like that are just good for towns.
