inSkipping G-code simulation seemed fine until I scrapped a high-value part.
Calling it high-value makes me wonder if it's just costly to you or genuinely pricey. Skipping the sim is a gamble, but plenty of runs go fine without it. One messed up part doesn't mean the method is broken. It's more about knowing when to take the risk. Bad luck, but probably not worth the panic.

inAppreciation post: I solved my floor squeak with a single nail
Hold up, you fixed it with just ONE nail? That squeak must have been whispering, not yelling. Every floor squeak I've ever dealt with needed like three screws and a prayer to even quiet down a little. My last one was a whole project involving finding the joist and still not getting it right. Are you sure it's actually gone for good and not just hiding?

inPSA: Using a cashback app for hostel booking led to a funny roomie situation.
I always had a strict rule about booking only female dorms in hostels to avoid awkwardness. Your story about being the only one with that soccer team actually sounds kind of fun in the end. I used to think mixing in a big co-ed room would just be uncomfortable and not worth the small savings. But getting those free tickets and being included, even as the outsider, is a pretty good memory. It makes me reconsider if my rule is too strict and if I'm missing out on some random adventures. Maybe the weird mix-up is part of the point.

inShowerthought: A client pressured me to omit door sensors for cost
I showed them how a single weak point ruins everything. Explaining the risk usually gets them on board.

inPro tip: Lock your shop door when the kids are running around
Read somewhere that this is why childproofing never really works. They just see it as a puzzle to solve.
